Cherry Blossom

It has been a long winter but spring is finally here. The Cherry Blossoms are in full blossom. And during this period the Japanese like to Hanami, which literally means flower viewing. Whether it's in small groups, big groups, with families or friends; people will sit under the trees- eat, drink and just enjoy the moment.

The life span of these beautiful flowers are so short, they scatter in the wind and are also damaged by heavy rain. It's no wonder the parks are always so full! I can now understand appreciate the obsession of Cherry Blossoms.
